Breathe. Release. Think.

I’ve written a few notes on how to accept the fact that no matter how much you consume, no matter how much time and energy you put into your career, there is always a new technique, a new book, a new typeface, a new plugin that you’re currently not using and everyone else seems to be.

Breathe. Release. Think.

Great talk from Aaron Draplin

Ain’t no pizza like a free pizza.

Purchasing Tickets

– Go to the ticket website minutes before the general public sale happens
– Select ‘2’ from the quantity selection and allow for a seat anywhere
– Obsessively press the refresh button until the sale happens
– Get sent to a ‘waiting room’ which tells me I must wait for 14 minutes
– 10 minutes remaining, 6 minutes, 3 minutes, 1 minute, 4 minutes (wait what?)
– No tickets available
– Repeat

How is this possible? How is the $15 surcharge ‘fees’ for each ticket justified? How is a service which has one of the worst user experiences I’ve seen in quite some time able to exist, let alone have a monopoly on the ticketing industry?

Convenience?

What the world needs now is to slow the hell down

This project also comes with pizza
